Turning a temp shift into a permanent role
Plenty of permanent hires start as a temp shift that went well. Working a practice before committing to it tells you more than any interview will.
You are assessing them too
A temp day shows you the things a tour never will: how the schedule is built, whether the team runs on time, how they handle a difficult patient. Treat it as your interview of the practice as much as theirs of you.
Say so if you like it
Offices often assume a temp is not looking for something permanent. If a practice is a fit, tell them, and mark yourself open to perm roles in your profile so they can find you.
