Hygiene never ends and perio never ends. A restorative case has a last appointment, and you get to see the thing you helped build sitting in somebody's mouth, working.
You are comfortable with the lab
Half of prosthodontics happens in a building you have never been to, with people you speak to by note. Assistants who pick up the phone and ask the technician a question are worth an enormous amount and are surprisingly rare.
Long appointments do not bother you
Full arch cases, multiple units, and try-ins that take as long as they take. If you want to be somewhere else by ten past, this is not your chair.

- Maintenance around crowns, bridges, implants and dentures, which is its own skill and not something every hygienist has practised.

- Do I have to prove my registration at every practice?
