Can a temp shift turn into a permanent job?
How professionals move from covering shifts at a practice to working there.

Are you an office?Read this for officesIt can, if that is what you want. Practices tend to hire people they have already worked with, and a temp shift is the most honest interview either side gets. You see how the office actually runs on a normal Tuesday, and they see you work.
Plenty of people never take that route and never intend to. Temping is a career on its own terms, and choosing to stay temping is not a step you failed to take.
How it starts
Usually one of two ways. Either the office tells us they would like to keep you, or you tell us there is a practice you would happily work at permanently. Mark yourself open to permanent roles in your profile and offices looking to hire can find you.
Nothing happens without you
An office expressing interest is not an offer, and it does not commit you to anything. We check with you before taking it any further, and you can keep temping while you think about it or decide the practice is not for you.
What it costs you
The placement fee for a permanent hire is agreed with the practice, not with you. Your side of it is the same conversation you would have with any employer about salary, hours, and a start date.
Your temp work is not held against you here. Taking a permanent role you found through WORKFORCE is the system working, not you leaving.
