Can I hire a temp permanently?
Turning a professional who already fits your office into a full-time hire.

Are you a dental professional?Read this for professionalsYou can ask, and if they say yes we will handle it. Working alongside someone for a few shifts tells you far more about fit than an interview does, and they are getting the same read on your office.
It is worth knowing how often this actually happens before you plan a hire around it. Most of the professionals temping with us are temping on purpose. They have chosen the schedule control, and plenty of them turn down permanent roles to keep it. A temp who suits your office is not a candidate in waiting, and the answer is theirs.
How it works
If somebody is a strong fit, tell us and we will ask them. When the answer is yes, we move the existing request toward a permanent placement rather than sending you back to the start of a search.
- Tell us which professional you would like to hire
- We ask whether they want a permanent role at all
- If they do, we handle the paperwork between you
- They move onto your payroll on a start date you agree
If the answer is no, you hear that it was no and nothing else. We do not pass on a reason, and it does not affect whether they keep covering shifts for you.
What it costs
Converting a temp to a permanent hire carries a placement fee. The amount varies by market, because pay and demand differ from one region to the next, and it is priced to stay competitive with what a recruiter or headhunter would charge for the same hire.
The fee is quoted before anything is agreed, so you know the number in advance rather than finding it on an invoice. Contact us and we will walk you through the figure for your role and your market.
Temporary coverage is billed as an all-in hourly rate rather than a separate fee. The placement fee applies only when you convert someone to a permanent hire.
